Interview –  “Joe McCarthy, Author Checks For Vets”  - Steve Jeffery and Joe McCarthy

There are more than 1.5 million war-time service veterans and their spouses are eligible for billions of dollars a year in the form of VA pensions to help pay for assisted living and home care. Many leave their share of the entitlement on the table due to their lack of knowledge of the program. Checks For Vets is a guidebook to help war-time veterans and surviving spouses access more than $23,000 annually of tax free money to pay for long-term care that is normally paid of out of pocket. Joe McCarthy discusses his book Checks For Vets and how veterans can access these funds to improve their quality of life in later years.
